Research: Blockchain in Global Context

I’ve been thinking about and researching bitcoin and blockchain since 2011. It’s remained an interest of mine, and I’ve thought about its potential implications in diverse applications. I think its most interesting applications emerge under conditions of volatility and uncertainty, which I started write about here.
